Drones Hit Gazprom's Petrochemical Complex In Bashkortostan

Drones have successfully attacked Gazprom's petrochemical complex in the city of Salavat, which is about 1,500 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. The plant is on fire.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of the head of the administration of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.

"Two drones of airplane type attacked the enterprise. There are no dead or injured," he wrote.

He said the enterprise's guards tried to open fire on the drones.

"We are finding out the extent of the damage. We are now liquidating the fire," Khabirov said.

Russian channel Astra publishes video from the scene of the attack, which shows a heavy fire at the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat petrochemical complex.

Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat is a Russian petrochemical company that owns one of Russia's largest oil refining and petrochemical production complexes located in the city of Salavat (Republic of Bashkortostan).
