Ranking Of Innovative Countries Of The World

Belarus ranked 102nd.

Belarus has been ranked among 139 economies in this year's Global Innovation Index (GII). This follows from the UN survey data.

GII ranks world economies by their innovation potential.

The index includes about 80 indicators and is designed to reflect the multidimensional aspects of innovation.

This year Belarus ranks 102nd in terms of innovative investments. This position is the same as last year.

Also, our country ranked 70th in terms of the volume of innovation activity, which is lower than in 2024.

At the same time, Belarus fell to 85th place in the overall ranking, while in 2020 our country was in 64th position.

Switzerland retained the first place in the GII, it has held this position since 2011. It is followed by Sweden and the United States, and China was at the 10th position in the Global Innovation Index.

The other countries in the top ten of the list, after the United States and before China, which go in order of ranking, are South Korea, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Finland, the Netherlands and Denmark.
