Belarus plans to draft evaders with a "criminal record" into the army. Such a bill is being considered by the so-called deputies. In particular, they are preparing amendments and additions to the law of Belarus on military duty and military service.

The amendments and additions concern the possibility to conscript citizens, who evaded the draft and in respect of whom a criminal case has been initiated, or a court proceeding is underway.
