Because of the words about Dzhokhar Dudayev.

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov urged Alla Pugacheva "not to provoke" Chechens. This is how he reacted to an interview in which the singer spoke kindly about Chechen leader Dzhokhar Dudayev, writes "Meduza".

Kadyrov said that "such enemies of the people and traitors as Pugacheva" should not "ruminate in vain about the most difficult period for the Chechen people."

September 10, a three-hour interview of Alla Pugacheva with journalist Katerina Gordeeva was released on YouTube, in which the singer mentioned, among other things, the first Chechen war.

"I especially remember the first Chechen war because I knew Dzhokhar Dudayev. He was so decent and decent, an intelligent man, a beautiful man... And what a wife! An artist, writer, politician... She called me, thinking as if I could help her in some way. But what could I do? Nothing. I'm ashamed to even say hello to her now. Alla Fyodorovna, if you suddenly see this interview, I apologize for not being able to do anything to keep Dzhokhar alive," the singer said.

Because of the words about Dudayev, Pugacheva was also sued for one and a half billion rubles (the court has not yet accepted it for consideration). The plaintiff was attorney Alexander Treshchev, a lawyer and a regular participant in TV shows on Russian federal channels. In early 2024, he sued the blogger Nastya Ivleeva over a "naked vespers" organized by her. As part of that litigation, Treschev demanded one billion rubles, but his claim was dismissed.
