NYT: Trump Knowingly Set Impossible Conditions For NATO

Hungary and Turkey will not stop buying Russian oil.
U.S. President Donald Trump has told European leaders he wants them to reduce their purchases of Russian oil, but that condition will almost certainly not be met, and both the American leader and his advisers know it.
The The New York Times writes about it.
The biggest European buyers of Russian oil are two countries whose leaders Trump admires. The countries in question are Hungary and Turkey, and they are unlikely to stop buying, the NYT writes. Most other European countries have significantly reduced their imports of Russian oil. However, some of them still depend on Russian natural gas, which Trump did not bring up.
U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly rattled his guns in preparation for sanctions against Russia, but has found an excuse to abandon them, the NYT states.
