There Were Explosions On The Railroad Near Kiev

The emergency is not related to the Russian Federation air attack.
Shortly before midnight on September 13, explosions unrelated to the Russian air attack occurred in the Kiev region. No enemy air targets were recorded within the Kiev region, no "Air Alert" signal was announced.
An the head of the Kiev Regional State Administration Nikolai Kalashnik reported this. As a result of the emergency incident in Fastivka district of the near capital region, the railway infrastructure has been damaged.
"Operational services are working at the scene. All necessary actions are being carried out. More detailed information will be provided later," Kalashnik wrote shortly after information about the explosions appeared.
Already after 5 a.m., Kalashnik reported an "emergency incident in Fastivskyi district."
"Due to an emergency incident, there was damage to the railway infrastructure in Fastivskyi district of Kyiv region. Together with the Ukrzaliznytsia team and relevant services we are working to eliminate the consequences," the official emphasized.
The chairman of the board of UZ Alexandr Pertsovsky specified: the emergency happened near Boyarka: train 73 Kharkiv - Peremyshl fell into the emergency zone. It continued to move after 4 am.
"Most of the 240 evacuated passengers continue to travel on the train, part (21 passengers) was brought to Kievsky station. Already at 04:15 the train in Kiev will pick up these passengers and continue to move. All passengers who have returned home will be put on the next trains to Peremyshl on their tickets. We are working with our Polish colleagues to speed up border checks and to save transfers as much as possible," - wrote Pertsovsky at 04:10 on his Facebook page.
Not without casualties.
"Three women were given medical assistance - an acute reaction to stress. The emergency medical brigade is accompanying passengers on the train to the capital. During the restoration work long-distance trains will run bypassing the damaged section through Mironovka or Korosten. This means a deviation from the schedule, however, the railroaders speed up the trains and work on all necessary connections in manual mode", - said the head of Kyiv Regional State Administration.
To prevent morning traffic complications on the site where the emergency situation occurred, "Ukrzaliznytsia" organized a clock movement of suburban trains to / from Boyarka throughout Sunday. The schedule can be found on the official resources of "Ukrzaliznytsia".
"Work to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation continues and should be completed in the near future," - assured Kalashnik.
Delay of trains
In "Ukrzaliznytsia" reported that due to damage to the infrastructure near Kiev as a result of the emergency situation, a number of trains traveling through Boyarka station will run on a modified route.
"Now we take care of the safety of passengers and train and locomotive crews", - was said in the message.
A number of trains were delayed, which was informed on the site "UZ-Vezem".
Slightly later in "UZ" reported that instead of the section Zdolbunov - Kazatin-2 trains will follow through Korosten. To bypass the section Zhmerinka - Fastov-1 - through Mironovka and Tripillya-Dneprovskoe.
In the meantime, the train №23 Kiev - Chelm has already headed by the changed route through Korosten with a delay, the train is accelerated to reduce it. Passengers from Berdichev station were to be picked up by train #31 with a subsequent transfer.
"Also, train #139 Kiev - Kamyanets-Podilskyi, #141/143 Sumy, Chernihiv - Rakhiv and #21/103 Kramatorsk, Kharkiv - Lviv will be deployed and sent by a modified route," UZ added.
Train #73 Kharkiv - Peremyshl also departed by a modified route via Kiev and Korosten. The train was accelerated, however, the expected delay is not less than 4 hours.
"For the information of passengers of this flight, who went from the scene of the accident by bus transfer to Kiev or independently: the train will depart from Kiev-Passazhirskyi station approximately at 04:15. In case it is impossible to board this flight for any reason, we are ready to accept passengers with tickets for train #73 on ANY other train in the direction of Peremyshl during Sunday without exchange of tickets", - reported in "UZ".
They also announced that in order to prevent morning traffic complications on the section where the emergency occurred, a clockwork movement of suburban trains to/from Boyarka will be organized throughout Sunday.
On day 14.09.25 suburban trains with stops Karavaevy Dachi, Kyiv-Volynsky, Vishnevoye, Tarasovka, Boyarka were scheduled.
