What's behind the revolutionary agreement?
America and Britain will sign a "revolutionary" technology agreement during US President Donald Trump's visit to London.
It is reported by Bloomberg
London will host Donald Trump on an official visit next week. It will be his second state visit to the UK and will last three days.
It is known that Trump will be accompanied by a delegation of top executives from US tech companies, including Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI chief Sam Altman.
They, according to sources, plan to announce a multi-billion dollar investment in British data centers. CoreWeave, a US cloud computing company that went public this year, has similar intentions.
The visit will also be joined by BlackRock chief Larry Fink. His company plans to invest up to 500 million pounds ($678 million) in developing data infrastructure in Britain.
A "groundbreaking technology agreement" will be signed during Trump's visit, according to Britain's Ministry of Science, Innovation and Technology. The document, details of which have not yet been disclosed, is expected to provide a major boost to businesses and consumers on both sides of the Atlantic.
"Advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing will transform our lives, from treating illnesses to improving public services," said Technology Minister Liz Kendall, who recently took up the post.
