It will also affect those with dual citizenship.

Belarusians, who have obtained a second citizenship or residence permit of a foreign state, want to oblige to submit fingerprints when exchanging documents. This is provided by the draft amendments to the law "On State Dactyloscopic Registration," which was published on the National Legal Portal, writes "Zerkalo".

The document was introduced by the Council of Ministers, adopted by the "House of Representatives" and approved by the Council of the Republic.

The draft proposes to supplement the law on dactyloscopic registration with several paragraphs. Thus, for example, it is proposed to introduce mandatory fingerprinting when issuing or exchanging documents for Belarusians over 14 years old and under 75, who:

- have acquired citizenship (nationality) of a foreign state or received a residence permit or other document of a foreign state, granting the right to benefits and other advantages in connection with political, religious views or nationality, who informed the bodies of internal affairs or diplomatic missions or consular offices of the Republic of Belarus about it.
