The United States has lifted sanctions on Belavia airline. This was announced by Deputy Special Representative of U.S. President Donald Trump John Cole during a meeting with Lukashenko.

"I want to make it absolutely official here now that we have lifted sanctions on Belavia. It's official. I had a meeting with President Trump, which was attended by several dozen other people. This decision has been made," said Cole.

It became known later, Lukashenko's regime released 52 political prisoners. They are being held in Lithuania.
