Russia will be stopped.
The European Union said it is urgent to develop a "wall against drones" on its eastern flank because of the intrusion of Russian drones into Polish airspace.
The European Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius said.
He said Russia is again testing border states, the EU and NATO.
"We must urgently develop an 'anti-drone wall' along the entire eastern flank of the EU, which is now a crucial joint flagship project. We will work together with member states, border countries and Ukraine. Russia will be stopped," the European Commissioner wrote.
In addition, it is known that the EU will launch an Eastern Flank Watch program, as announced by another European Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis.
"The EU will protect every inch of its territory. The European Commission will launch an eastern flank surveillance program to give the EU independent strategic capabilities, improve real-time surveillance of our eastern border and build a 'wall against drones,'" he wrote.
Reminder, on the night of September 10, Polish airspace was violated by Russian drones.
