U.S. State Department Has Received Information About Russian Drones Invading Poland

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed receiving information about Russian drones violating Polish airspace.

It was reported by onet.pl.

Answering a question from CNN, Rubio said: "Yes," when asked if he had received information about Russian drones violating Polish airspace during the attack on western Ukraine.

Poland said its military forces shot down several drones that violated its airspace during the Russian attack on Ukraine.

Poland's military command said "weapons were used and the services are actively working to identify the downed objects."

Poland also closed several airports, including Warsaw International Airport, because of "unplanned military activities related to state security."
