Poland's prime minister received information about downed Russian drones.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk says he has received a report from the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces about downed drones that invaded Polish airspace on Tuesday night.

"I have received a report from the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces about downed drones that invaded our airspace and could pose a threat. The operation is continuing," Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote just before 7 a.m. Minsk time on the X service.

The Polish Armed Forces Operational Command said Polish airspace was repeatedly violated by drones overnight during Russia's attack on Ukraine.

"An operation continues over Poland to neutralize objects that violated and crossed the border of the Republic of Poland. State authorities - the president and the prime minister - have been informed. All services are in action. Please follow the instructions of the Polish Army and police," said Deputy Minister of National Defense Cesara Tomczyk.

Earlier there was also information about the temporary closure of airports in Rzeszów, Lublin and Warsaw.
