Drones Attacked A Russian Military Unit In Slavyansk-on-Kuban

In the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban in Russia's Krasnodar region, the military unit 61661 caught fire as a result of a UAV attack. The shelling occurred on the night of Thursday, August 7.

The corresponding videos were leaked online by local residents. Telegram channel ASTRA revealed that the warnings of the RSChS (Russian Unified State System for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations) indicated "fire on the territory of the military unit."

The footage, published by local Internet publishers, shows black smoke over the area where the aggressor country's military facility is located.

Residents in the region were notified by RCMP of the drone attack threat at 1:21 a.m. Thursday. The "Drone Danger" threat was canceled in the Krasnodar region at 7:38.

Governor's Statement

Local Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said that there was a victim in the region "as a result of the fall of UAV debris".

"A man was on the street, was injured, he was promptly hospitalized, doctors are providing all the necessary care. The windows in the private house were blown out, destroyed the outbuildings on the plot. I instructed the head of the municipality Roman Sinyagovsky to provide all the necessary assistance," - reported the official.

Also he said about "a small fire after the fall of debris in the Krasnoarmeysky district". There, according to his report, there were no casualties.
