Trump Has Two Paths To Take

The head of the White House will have to make the toughest choice in the history of the United States.
In fact, the most interesting thing will not be what Donald Trump will say on August 8, the most interesting thing will be what will happen the next day.
We already understand that there is no magic wand in Donald Trump's pocket, and his fault is not in the absence of this wand at all, but in creating the illusion of its presence.
If it turns out that China and India ignore the sanctions and continue to trade with Russia, while Russia continues to go to war - they probably will - it will mean that the United States is incapable of bringing order and peace where war does not frighten the world of the "global South."
And then Trump has two choices.
The first is to resign himself to his own helplessness and try to defend what has not yet been taken over by the "second world" (which, of course, will step in because it will be convinced of Western weakness). This is the death of geopolitical America and the global West.
And the second is not to be complacent and to push Russia, China and India as hard as we can, to increase military aid to Ukraine, to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on that aid, and to reorient the American economy to confront the world's troublemakers.
Yes, this approach will involve the risk of World War III during Trump's term, but there is no other way to keep America great and there never has been.
Trump will have to make the toughest choice of all time.
