WP: US President To Meet With Armenian And Azerbaijani Leaders

A peace deal may be announced.

U.S. President Donald Trump will host the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the White House on Friday in an attempt to broker a peace deal.

It was reported by The Washington Post.

Two senior White House officials confirmed such a meeting. One of them said it might include an announcement of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Trump is expected to meet directly with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Aug. 8.
