Russia's Representative Shocked The UN With A Cynical Prank

I was looking at my phone while the Security Council was shown a photo of a child killed by Russia.

On August 29, an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council was held because of the Russian massive attack. During the meeting, Russia's representative was defiantly looking at her phone while Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko was showing a photo of a child killed by shelling.

Yulia Sviridenko spoke at the time about the consequences of Russian strikes on Ukraine, urging the world community to respond accordingly. A video clip from the UN Security Council meeting was shown on TSN.

The footage shows Russia's representative sitting defiantly on her phone at the UN Security Council meeting while Prime Minister Sviridenko shows a photo of a child killed by Russian shelling the day before.

The Russian woman at the time turned her gaze to her smartphone and pretended to look at something with interest. She did not react in any way to the photo of the dead child in Sviridenko's hands.

As noted by TSN, the Russians during the UN Security Council meeting rejected the accusations made by Ukraine regarding the massive shelling and denied responsibility for what they had done. Instead, they expressed dissatisfaction with the Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries.
