Ukraine Has Hit Russia's Key Logistics Facilities Hard

The General Staff of the AFU revealed the details of the operation.

On the night of August 28, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a number of important facilities of the aggressor country Russia. This was reported by the AFU General Staff.

It is noted that units of the Unmanned Systems Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine attacked the Afipsky refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region.

"This oil refinery, whose main refined products are gasoline and diesel fuel, is involved in supplying the invading army. Its annual refining capacity is 6.25 million tons of crude oil per year. A large-scale fire was recorded on the territory of the facility," the report says.

Also, units of the Unmanned Systems Force and the Special Operations Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a fire attack on the Kuibyshev oil refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation.

"The enterprise produces gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oils, solvents, in total - more than 30 types of petroleum products. The refining capacity is 7 million tons of oil per year. Explosions and fire on the territory of the plant were recorded," the ministry said.

The ministry added that ammunition depots and a number of logistics facilities of Russia, which are involved in supplying the Russian army, were also hit by the AFU.

"The facilities are located both directly in the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Detailed information about the consequences of the defeat is being specified," the General Staff summarized.
