Ukrainian Snipers Repel Russian Attack On Zaporizhzhya Direction

Snipers of the Special Operations Forces (SDF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhya direction engaged in direct small arms combat with the occupants and destroyed Russian attack aircraft. The corresponding video has already appeared online.

The SSO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this.

It is noted that on the Zaporizhzhya direction during the attempt of the Russians to storm the positions of the Defense Forces, a group of snipers of the 144th center of the SSO performed a combat task.

The snipers, while in the positions of an adjacent unit, saw a massive Russian attack on one of the defense sites - the Russian occupiers used infantry, drones and artillery. The enemy managed to penetrate deep into the positions of the SOU.

Seeing the situation, the sniper group counterattacked the Russians, armed with grenades, machine guns and assault rifles. The special forces not only stopped the enemy's advance, but also cleared the trenches from the Russian attackers.

"Thanks to the professionalism of the special forces and coordinated actions, the enemy's assault was repelled," the report added.
