Zaluzhny announced historic changes on the front.

Former AFU commander-in-chief and current Ukrainian ambassador to the UK Valeriy Zaluzhny emphasized the need to change the strategic approach to war.

In an interview with the "Nova Ukrayinska Shkola" channel, he said that the bet should be made not on the mass presence of soldiers in the trenches, but on modern military technologies, primarily drones.

The era of huge fronts and thousands of soldiers in the trenches is a thing of the past, he said, because modern means of defeat can find and destroy everyone.

In these conditions, Zaluzhny said, it is necessary to minimize the number of personnel on the front line, replacing people with drones and robotic systems.

He added that technologies that seemed like science fiction not so long ago are already becoming a reality.

"A $50 robot is capable of calculating and eliminating a fighter. It's already a fact. What was once shown in Terminator movies is becoming our reality," the diplomat said.

In Zaluzhny's opinion, Ukraine needs to continue to rely on unmanned technology to reduce losses and effectively deter the Russian army, which continues to wage a destructive war against Ukraine.
