Ukraine And Lithuania To Launch Joint Production Of Long-range Drones

The Ukrainian defense minister revealed the details.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denis Shmygal said that Kiev and Vilnius will jointly produce defense products to strengthen the security of both countries.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Shmygal's Telegram page.
Special attention will be paid to the creation of long-range drones and the launch of joint production facilities.
The corresponding Letter of Intent was signed in Kiev together with Lithuanian National Defense Minister Dovile Shakalene.
The document opens opportunities for launching joint ventures, development of Ukrainian companies in Lithuania and technology exchange.
Shmygal thanked his Lithuanian counterpart for the visit and productive interaction.
The minister also stressed that Lithuania will continue to allocate 0.25 percent of its GDP for military aid to Ukraine until 2027, which is a strong signal of long-term support for Ukrainian warriors.
In the framework of the agreements, the sides focused on attracting additional funding for the purchase of weapons and the development of the Ukrainian defense industry.
