Belarus is working on a launcher for the Russian Oreshnika missile system. This was stated by Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee Dmitry Pantus on the air of the propaganda TV channel "Belarus 1".

- The "Oreshnik" launcher (at least, the Belarusian part) is being duly manufactured. And all these activities are ahead of schedule as of today," said Dmitry Pantus.

The employee of Belarus 1 asked what kind of missile Belarus needs.

- We need the most powerful, far-flying and hitting where it is needed," Pantus replied. - Certain proposals on the development of this direction were reported today. Accordingly, in the near future these issues will be further discussed and a final report will be made. We have never stopped, not even for a moment, we are working [on it].

Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the fact that the Russian missile system "Oreshnik" would have a Belarusian launcher back in December last year. At the time, he claimed that Russia would supply Oreshnik to Belarus for free in return. The dictator promised that the launcher would be ready in the second half of 2025.
