Kellogg Arrives In Ukraine And Participates In Independence Day Celebrations

The US presidential special envoy will stay in the country until tomorrow.

On Sunday, August 24, U.S. Special Representative Keith Kellogg arrived in Ukraine and is already participating in Independence Day celebrations.

The broadcast was hosted by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Sources "Suspilne" confirmed that Kellogg will remain in Ukraine until tomorrow, August 25, and attend a prayer breakfast.

No other details were given.

Kellogg's visit comes amid active discussions between the United States, Ukraine and Europe regarding security guarantees for Ukraine.

This is not Kellogg's first visit to Ukraine: he was already in Kiev last month. Then, according to sources, the situation in the capital was calmer and Russian shelling was less frequent. Now there is no drone threat over most of Ukraine, with the exception of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
