A Russian fighter jet crashed into a pole in the Armenian capital. The emergency occurred on the night of August 24.

According to the media, a Russian fighter jet crashed into a metal pole at around 2:15 local time and then into a fence on Arshakunyats Avenue in Yerevan.

There are no casualties as a result of the emergency.

Patrols and officers of the Military Police of the Armenian Defense Ministry blocked traffic on the section of the road to Erebuni airport.

According to Armenian media, it is likely to be a Russian MiG-type fighter jet.
