The Russian Defense Ministry said that their air defense system allegedly intercepted and destroyed 57 drones during Saturday evening.

The Russian defense ministry said in a statement.

According to them, from 17:00 to 23:30 Minsk time, drones were allegedly shot down in the Bryansk, Kaluga, Smolensk, Kursk, Leningrad, Tver, Novgorod, Orel and Tambov regions, as well as in the Moscow region, the Republic of Chuvashia and over the waters of the Black Sea.

It should be noted that yesterday drones flew into St. Petersburg for the first time since last year.
