Britain Ready To Send Troops To Ukraine To Protect Skies And Ports

This was stated by Admiral Anthony Radakin, Chief of the British Defense Staff.

Britain is ready to send its troops to Ukraine to protect the skies and seaports, but will not bring them closer to the front line with Russian Federation.

Britain's Chief of Defense Staff Admiral Anthony Radakin said this, according to The Guardian.

It is noted that Radakin will soon inform his American counterparts at a meeting at the Pentagon that British troops are ready to defend seaports and organize air defense operations in Ukraine.

Britain's Chief of Defense Staff is also expected to confirm that Britain will provide soldiers for logistics and training.

Some sources previously reported the deployment of up to 30,000 troops to protect Ukrainian facilities, but that figure was reduced due to opposition from some European countries.

"Wednesday is a really important moment. Nothing happens in Washington without the approval of the president (US President Donald Trump - ed.), so Trump's support for security guarantees on Monday began active activity," the source of the publication noted.

We will recall that on August 18, the leaders of Ukraine, the United States, France, Finland, Germany, Britain, Italy, as well as the president of the European Commission and NATO Secretary General met at the White House. The main topic of discussion was security guarantees for Ukraine.
