Zelensky: Europe Has Never Been So United Around Ukraine

The Ukrainian president and the Norwegian prime minister exchanged assessments of the meetings in Washington.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had a conversation with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Støre.

Zelensky said in his Telegram channel.

"We exchanged assessments of the meetings in Washington and discussed our joint work with all partners regarding strong security guarantees for Ukraine. Jonas noted that this is truly a historic achievement: Europe has never been so united around Ukraine," the report said.

Zelensky emphasized that peace can become reliable and long-lasting, and it is security guarantees that are the key to this.

"Ukrainians have defended their independence, Ukraine has united many nations and by providing strong security guarantees will definitely ensure a future for Ukrainians.

Now we are actively working at all levels on the specifics, on what the architecture of guarantees will be, with all participants of the co I am grateful to everyone who helps," the President added.

He also said that bilateral relations with Norway were discussed: "We do a lot of common things. We especially appreciate cooperation in the energy sector. We agreed to meet with Jonas in the near future. Thank you!"
