Industrial Production In Belarus Went Into Decline

There are two areas in the lead.

According to the results of January-July, for the first time this year, Belarus recorded a decline in industrial production.

According to the National Statistics Committee, in this period, the volume of industrial production in current prices amounted to Br119.3 billion, which amounted to 99.7% of the same period in 2024. For the first time this year, industry gave a setback compared to last year.

The types minus "Manufacturing industry" (99.4%) and "Water supply; waste collection, treatment and disposal, pollution elimination activities" (99.5%), continued to grow "Mining industry" - 102.8% and "Supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and conditioned air" -101.6%.

Regionally, the decrease in production was observed in Vitebsk voblast (by 2.9%), Gomel voblast (by 2.6%) and Grodno voblast (by 1.5%). Industrial output increased in Minsk voblast (by 3.2%), Minsk (by 1.2%) and Brest voblast (by 1%).
