White House Names Location Of Putin-Trump Talks In Alaska

The meeting will be held in Anchorage.

Russian and U.S. Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will meet in Anchorage, Alaska on August 15, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said at a briefing.

"On Friday morning, President Trump will travel across the country to Anchorage, Alaska, for a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin," she said.

Anchorage is the largest city in the state of Alaska.

The New York Times previously wrote that the U.S. Secret Service had rented a six-room house in the city.
