The sabotage group moved from the area of Selidove and for 14 days slowly advanced through Peschanoye and Zvirovoye, moving towards Pokrovsk. The movement was carried out at a slow pace - about 600 meters per day. Coordination between the groups was carried out via drones, which were also used to drop water, food and communications equipment.
The AFU killed almost all of them
According to Deep State, about 120 of the 150 Russian fighters were killed by air strikes or blown up en route. Some managed to reach the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk but were promptly blocked. Some of them surrendered as prisoners of war. The rest are being cleaned up by the AFU special forces.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces reacted in a timely manner, tracked the saboteurs' advance and carried out systematic strikes. The destruction of such groups is an important result of the work of Ukrainian intelligence and unmanned units, analysts say.
Total failure
The goal of the operation was not fulfilled: Russia lost up to 80% of its personnel before the start of active operations. The attempt to conduct a stealthy penetration deep into the defenses of Ukrainian forces turned out to be a military failure and defeat.
