After hours of talks in London, the two sides have made significant progress on U.S. leader Donald Trump's plan to settle the war in Ukraine.

Axios journalist Barak Ravid reported this on social media X.

Ravid quoted a U.S. official as saying that today's meetings in London had brought significant progress toward Donald Trump's plan to resolve the war between Russia and Ukraine

"A U.S. official told me, 'Today's hours-long meetings brought significant progress toward President Trump's goal of ending the war in Ukraine ahead of the upcoming meeting between President Trump and President Putin in Alaska,'" the journalist wrote.
