Lukashenko Will Not Be Able To Sit On Two Chairs

  • 30.07.2025, 11:20

Standing in a stretch can be done, but not for long.

A drone flew into Minsk on July 29. The drone, obviously flying across the border, managed to fly into the capital, fly to Matusevicha Street and land on the parked cars in the courtyard of apartment building No. 72. There is a kindergarten in the yard of this house, and the time of the drone's arrival was 2 am. And only this, perhaps, saved from casualties and victims. Because, as we know, to rely on the Belarusian air defense forces is the destiny of the strong believers, writes planbmedia.io.

The drone is there, but there are no comments

The Belarusians learned about the drone's flight not from the authorities, what is there. Independent media were the first to write about it. "Zerkalo" reported that in the video, which is in the editorial office's possession, the drone flies into the courtyard of house No. 72 on Matusevicha Street, crashes into a car and explodes.

"In the clip, a noise like that of a moped is heard, then a strong explosion is heard. After that, debris falls to the ground and sparks sparkle next to parked cars under a series of sounds of impacts and explosions," the publication wrote.

No official comment was made on the matter. Only an hour after the publication, the Defense Ministry confirmed the arrival of the drone in the capital. Apparently, it was somehow inconvenient to deny it.

God protects, but air defense does not. When combat drones fly into Belarus, the Belarusian air defense can only pray that they explode in the field, not in the middle of residential houses.

"The air defense forces on duty around 2 a.m. on July 29 in the airspace of the Republic of Belarus detected and stopped the flight of an unidentified aerial target - an airspace violator, identified as a UAV. As a result of the impact of electronic warfare 02:33 the UAV crashed near the house 72 Matusevicha Street, Minsk. There are no casualties as a result of the incident," reported the military.

The Ministry of Defense, of course, added that Lukashenko "keeps the situation under personal control." After all, as we know, even rapeseed grows better under Lukashenko's personal control. The drones may now also start to turn off halfway.

Where could the drone have come from?"

Three hours later, the Investigative Committee showed the wreckage of the drone and said it was "equipped with TNT and a large number of destructive elements in the form of metal balls."

The IC's photos show parts of the drone with inscriptions in Ukrainian. But it's not known where these fragments were filmed, and whether they are the ones that fell on Matusevich.

The flight of drones in Belarus is not new. True, they haven't reached Minsk yet. The publication "Flagstaff" reported that from July 7 to July 13, no less than 59 "flights" of Russian attack drones were recorded in Homel region.

The truth is that the drone could have flown on July 29 from both Russia and Ukraine. Drones lose their direction when they're tried to shoot them down, they lose their route and can fly in any direction.

It's highly doubtful that Belarusians will be told where the drone flew to Minsk. As usual, the Belarusians themselves may become the culprits. Especially since "Viasna" has already reported that OMON came to Matusevicha and detained people in the yard. The law enforcers denied this information, but this is before the first criminal case, so to speak.

The whole situation suggests that one can't sit on two chairs when you're a coaggressor in the war. Standing in the stretch can be done, but not for long. Three and a half years is quite a decent period. After that, you will have to reap the fruits of your short-sighted decisions.
