NATO remains vigilant.
The North Atlantic Alliance said that in connection with the Russian-Belarusian military exercises "Zapad-2025" planned for the fall, it remains vigilant and monitors Russia's military activity.
A NATO spokesman said this in a commentary to Delfi.
According to the Alliance spokesman, NATO closely monitors any military activity of the Russian Federation.
"NATO remains vigilant and very closely monitors Russia's military activity, including its exercises," he added.
The spokesman stressed that "the pattern of Russia's use of large military exercises to pursue a policy of intimidating its neighbors is, as before, a cause for concern."
"We continue to urge Russia and Belarus to act predictably and transparently, in accordance with their international obligations," the Alliance said.
Russian-Belarusian maneuvers Zapad-2025 are planned for September.
