A Drone That Flew Into Lithuania From Belarus Crashed?

Police have launched a search.

Police are still searching for a drone that flew into Lithuania from Belarus on Monday morning. "The location of the object is unclear. The search for the drone continues," Police Department spokeswoman Revita Janavičiūtė told ELTA, according to LRT.

She said "all police forces" and other services have been informed about the search for the drone. Lithuanian agencies are checking several possible locations where the drone may have fallen.

"Responsible agencies are currently checking versions of the possible downing of the object and are working on the suspected locations where it fell," the Lithuanian Defense Ministry told reporters on Monday. The drone has been spotted at an altitude of about 200 meters, most recently near Vilnius.
