Lithuanian police are continuing their search for a drone that flew into the Baltic country Monday morning from Belarus, Delfi reported.

"The location of the object is unknown. The search for the drone continues," police department spokeswoman Revita Janaviyute told ELTA news agency.

She said "all police forces" and other services are involved in the search.

Lithuanian law enforcers received information that the drone was seen in the Avizieniai area. It was heading in the direction of Ukmerge. The police also received reports that it was moving towards Belarus.

"Citizens who noticed the drone are urged not to approach it and immediately report it by phone 112," the police said in an emergency message.
