An Explosion Occurred On A Ukrainian Ship At The Mouth Of The Danube River

Yesterday late in the evening on July 23, an explosion occurred on a dredging vessel at the mouth of the Danube Bystroe, killing three workers and injuring some others.
It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine.
"The vessel was at the mouth of the Bystroe for routine work with 11 crew members. Three workers were killed in the explosion. Other crew members are now in hospital, they are provided with all the necessary medical care," the administration noted.
The relevant services are reported to be working at the scene. The details of the incident are being clarified. The results will be reported additionally.
"The sea approach channel of the mouth "Bystroe" is temporarily closed for ship traffic. The passage of ships to/from seaports of the Danube region is still carried out by the Sulinskiy channel", - added in the press service of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine.
