U.S. President Donald Trump announced trade agreements with Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia.
It was reported by Reuters and CNN.
The U.S. leader said the trade deal with Japan would result in $550 billion in investments and a 15 percent retaliatory duty.
"We just concluded a massive agreement with Japan, probably the largest in history," he said.
Trump emphasized that Tokyo will launch trade in cars, trucks, rice and some agricultural products, among other things.
"We will always have a great relationship with Japan," he wrote on the Truth Social network.
Trump also said he has reached trade agreements with Indonesia and the Philippines. Both will impose 19 percent duties on goods imported from both countries.
At the same time, U.S. goods shipped there will not be subject to duty.
The announcement came after his meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos at the White House.
"It was a great visit, we made a trade agreement," Trump confirmed.
