On the night of Saturday, July 19, Russian troops staged a massive drone attack on Odessa. The enemy hit civilian infrastructure, a residential high-rise building went up in flames. It is known about one dead person and at least three injured, writes OBOZ.UA.

The head of Odessa OBA Oleh Kiper and the mayor of the city Gennady Terekhov said. The latter noted that people in the high-rise building were rescued from the fire trap.

"Despite the active work of our air defense forces, there is damage to civilian infrastructure. In particular, apartment buildings. All authorized services have started working to eliminate the consequences of the attack," the OBA noted.

Odessa was attacked by more than 20 UAVs, which came at the city from different sides.

Trukhanov said that residents of damaged houses are being provided with temporary shelter in a kindergarten located near the site of the attack.
