Lukashenko Has Another Problem That Has Worsened

An important indicator for the dictator went into negative territory.

In Belarus, the rate of construction of new housing with state support is falling, according to the data of the National Statistics Committee. As for the construction of real estate specifically for the beneficiaries, this indicator is still in the negative, writes "Mirror".

In the first half of the year, organizations of all forms of ownership in the country have built 1 million 848.5 thousand m² of total housing.

At the same time, 352 thousand m² of housing were built with state support in January - June in the country for the waiting list. This is 3.2% less than in the same period of 2024.

In March last year, Roman Golovchenko, who was Prime Minister at the time, said that there was a need to change approaches to housing in Belarus. He noted that there were "certain difficulties" in the construction of housing, especially with state support.

The problem with the construction of housing with state support was brought to the attention of Alexander Lukashenko in June last year.
