A plaque about Kuropaty has disappeared on the Minsk ring road. This was written in her channel by denouncer and pro-Russian activist Olga Bondareva, reports euroradio.fm.

The plaque was written "The place of death of victims of political repression in the tract of Kuropaty 1930-1940". Now only two holes in the ground remain where it stood.

Kuropaty is the place where the NKVD shot people in the 1930s-1940s.

In 2019, the authorities organized a krestolom - the demolition of crosses around the perimeter of the people's memorial in Kuropaty. Later, a state "ordering of the territory" was organized, in which other crosses of the people's memorial were affected.

Propagandists defend the belief that victims of Nazi shootings lie in Kuropaty. Although the prosecutor's office proved back in the early 1990s that there are remains of victims of the Soviet regime there.
