Minsk Riot Police Head Balaba Fired

On January 29, 2025 Dzmitry Balaba was dismissed from the post of the Minsk riot police head to become the chairman of the Belarusian physical culture and sports society of ‘Dynama’ - an organisation that deals with sports, as well as recreation of military personnel.

Dzmitry Balaba was born in Maladzechna district. The Minsk riot police led by Balaba were massively and mercilessly mutilating thousands of Belarusians on an industrial scale, without regard to gender or age.

Balaba's parents' house in the village of Haradzilava was burnt down.
