Seven Systems Of The Russian Airplane Failed During Landing Approach

The incident occurred on a flight from Surgut to Samara.

An airplane of the Russian airline Utair had a transformer knocked out on approach and seven systems failed at once. This is reported by Telegram-channel "Aviatorshchina".

It is specified that the incident occurred in the evening of December 7 on a flight from Surgut to Samara. During the approach phase of the Boeing 737-500, the left and right fuel pumps, the electric hydraulic pump, the anti-jazz and automatic braking system, one radio station and the flight director on the commander's side were switched off.

Despite the incident, the liner landed safely. Technicians inspected the cockpit and found that the fuse of the first transformer was in a disconnected state. Rosaviatsia launched an investigation and the airline suspended the plane's operation to perform troubleshooting work.
