Sikorski Puts Musk In His Place After His Calls To 'dismantle The EU'

Poland's foreign minister responded to the American billionaire.

American billionaire Ilon Musk has called for the elimination of the European Union amid a fine levied by the European Commission against his social network X.

"The EU should be abolished and sovereignty returned to individual countries so that governments can better represent the interests of their peoples," he wrote.

Russian Security Council Secretary Dmitri Medvedev was not left out. The politician from the occupying country supported the idea with the comment "Exactly so".

Subsequently, Musk published another message with a provocative question: "How long until the EU disappears?".

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorski responded to the American billionaire by "sending" him to Mars: "Go to Mars. There is no censorship of Nazi salutes there."

Fine for social network X

Reminder, on December 5, we wrote about the fact that the social network X (formerly Twitter), which belongs to American billionaire Ilon Musk, received a large fine from the European Commission. We are talking about 120 million euros.

The fine was issued for violation of the European Union law on content moderation. The so-called "blue ticks" that social networks use to mark verified profiles also played a weighty role in the issue. After Musk bought out Twitter, anyone could get such a checkmark - all they had to do was pay for it. And this misled users.

The European Commission also said that the network prevented analysts from accessing data and failed to properly organize the storage of advertising.
