The Televised Ramblings Of A KGB Lieutenant Colonel.

What Putin actually said.

Given that in India, however, a close friend of Prime Minister Narendra Modi V. В. Putin (a friendship emphasized by both of them) also appears, in the words of one interviewee, as "undoubtedly one of the most influential politicians in the world," whose decisions "affect not only Russia but also countries around the world," and he himself is "an attractive , enigmatic figure on the world stage, there can be no more exciting than him," we can safely assume that the interview was watched by no less than half a billion Indian citizens who will see the Russian-Ukrainian war, its foundations, the prospects for peace, moreover Russian history and geopolitics through the eyes of KGB Lieutenant Colonel Putin.

And the latter, as always, lies big time. And this lie, hammered into the consciousness and subconsciousness of half a billion people (the current Indian government controls the media space quite tightly, so it is not easy to get alternative information), will have serious geopolitical weight.

And at the same time Putin gave away a lot of truth about his intentions and motives.

So: the purpose of the so-called "NWO" Putin called "the protection of our people who live there, the protection of our traditional values, the Russian language and so on. Protection, by the way, of the religion that has been cultivated for centuries in these territories. And you know that the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine is practically under a ban: churches are being taken away, people are being kicked out of churches... I'm not talking about the ban on the Russian language and so on.

That is, "protection of the Russian language" is a reason to kill tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians - both Ukrainian-speaking and Russian-speaking. And who are "their own people"? Those whom Moscow declares its own? Well, the tirade about the Russian Orthodox Church should be applauded: Putin publicly recognized that there is no "UOC-MP" and that the traditional instrument of the ideological department of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the KGB of the USSR, created by Stalin, is operating in Ukraine. And along with this truth - and lies: what "ban on the Russian language"?

The next part of the monologue: "We did not start this war. The West condoned and facilitated, organized the coup d'état in Ukraine. After that, the events in Crimea began, and then the events in the southeast of the then Ukraine, in Donbass, began." In fact, the coup d'état in Ukraine in 2010 was carried out by Viktor Yanukovych's team (he was elected with one authority, and he "organized" himself another, putting Russian generals at the head of almost all law enforcement agencies). And the "events in Crimea" began on February 20, 2014, when Yanukovych was still sitting in Kiev on the Bankova. Those "events" were organized by Russian militants and Kremlin agents, which, as they say, is notarized.

And Putin lies further: "For eight years... we tried to resolve these issues peacefully, signed... the Minsk agreements, hoping that it would be possible to settle this problem peacefully. Then it turned out that the Western leaders, they said it publicly, that they were not going to fulfill these Minsk agreements, but signed them only to give Ukraine an opportunity to arm itself and continue the armed struggle with us. We were forced after eight years of destroying the people who live in Donbass... we had to recognize these republics, first of all, and secondly, we had to start supporting them. And our special military operation is not the beginning of the war, but an attempt to end it. To finish the war that the West unleashed against us by the hands of Ukrainian nationalists... And we will finish it when we achieve the goals set before the start of the special military operation - to liberate these territories". Well, Goebbels is a small child compared to Putin. "By peaceful means"? By first bringing Girkin's militants into Donbass, and then regular troops? Then French President Hollande recalled about Minsk-2: "Putin suddenly lost his temper and threatened to simply and completely crush the troops of his vis-a-vis (Poroshenko). This seemed to recognize the presence of his troops in eastern Ukraine." And is the 1st and 2nd army corps formed back in early 2015 in Donbass with Russian equipment and Russian officers something "peaceful" too? Well, the thesis that "the West unleashed against us by the hands of Ukrainian nationalists" is designed frankly for clinical idiots. Is there really half a billion of them in India?

The words about the goals of the SWO deserve special attention. We remember that at the beginning of the invasion Putin spoke directly about deposing the legitimate Ukrainian government and had already brought Yanukovych to Minsk. But it didn't work out, so we have to pretend that the goal is to "liberate these territories." Which "these" territories? And here we have a real detective story.

I will cite information from the TASS agency in the original language: "Russia will liberate Donbass and Novorossiya either by military or other means. Russian President Vladimir Putin said this in an interview with India Today TV channel ahead of his state visit to India." The word "Novorossiya" is also in the title of this information. But this word is absent in the text of the interview published on Putin's presidential portal. How and why? The explanation seems to be simple. The state agency TASS (with its Party-Chekist pedigree) could not make something up; apparently, Putin got carried away and gave away a state secret, which was removed from the text of the interview, but they did not have time to remove it from the TASS publication. For the so-called "Novorossiya" (the historical lands of the Zaporizhian Army, Crimean Khanate, Moldavian Principality and several fortresses of the Ottoman Empire) includes the present-day Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolayiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and Kirovograd regions of Ukraine plus the Republic of Moldova. This means that Russia plans to go to war further, and not only with Ukraine. That's what had to be hidden.

Repeat: Putin is not going to end the war even if Ukrainian troops withdraw from Donbass.

And let Grandpa Trump repeat for the umpteenth time the mantra that Putin wants to end the war and return to peaceful life. Moreover: Trump is sure that in his first cadence there was no Russian war against Ukraine...

Of course, the interview contains a "historical" part. There, as always with Putin, is complete nonsense: "According to history, the first capital was in the area of Novgorod, in the northwest. Then from there the statehood "flowed" to the city of Great Novgorod, and a little later - to Kiev. And that was Ancient Rus'. It is striking that Putin adheres to the so-called "Norman theory" of the origin of Russia, that is, he insists on the inability of the Slavic people to create their own statehood. And thus considers both Novgorod (twice destroyed by Muscovites together with its population) and Kiev as "Russia". And further, they say, Kiev and the adjacent part of Russia, which was under the rule of Poland, "in the XVII century asked to go back to Russia". Uh, where back to? Russia emerged only in the XVIII century! And before that, even the ruble was Moscow's, there was no Russian ruble...

I won't go through all of Putin's lies, but I will note two stories. "The Kiev regime in its mentality is really very similar to the neo-Nazi regime, because an extreme form of nationalism and neo-Nazism are almost the same thing, they are almost equal concepts." Uh, actually Nazism is National Socialism, and where is socialism in Ukraine? But in Germany it was - read the monograph of Putin's fellow countryman from St. Petersburg Professor Oleg Penkov "Hitler's Socialism", it's all described there. And finally: "When Ukraine gained its independence - few people remember this - the first document on independence - what document was that? A declaration of sovereignty, independence of Ukraine. And this is the basis of Ukrainian independence, Ukrainian modern statehood. And it says that Ukraine is a neutral state." Putin is blatantly lying again. The basis of Ukrainian statehood is the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine on August 24, 1991, confirmed by a national referendum on December 1, 1991, and then embodied in the Constitution of Ukraine. And the Declaration of State Sovereignty became one of the steps on the way to independence of Ukraine. And about neutrality it says the following: "The Ukrainian SSR solemnly proclaims its intention to become in the future a permanently neutral state, which does not participate in military blocs and adheres to three non-nuclear principles: not to accept, produce or acquire nuclear weapons." Notice? Not Ukraine, but the Ukrainian SSR (show it on the world map!), and the Ukrainian SSR is not a "neutral state", but an entity that has the intention to become neutral. And intention and its realization do not always coincide, do they? Hitler had the intention to conquer half of the world and give the other half to the Allies - and how?

And in conclusion - one more interesting detail. We were told that the Ukrainian negotiators managed to reduce the 28 points of the Russian-American "peace plan" (which is neither a peace plan nor a plan) to 19 or 20. And according to Putin, there was no reduction: "They (the Americans) simply broke these 28, then 27 points into four packages and offered to discuss these four packages. But, in fact, it is the same 27 points." If this is true, then the U.S. has blatantly "leaked" Ukraine, if not - how can official Washington deal with such a liar of geopolitical magnitude?

Well, it seems that the current India needs just such a Putin...
