The head of Chechnya urged the Ukrainian fighters to determine the place for the meeting.
The head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov has appealed to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to determine a place for a "face-to-face" meeting if they consider themselves "warriors". He said this at a meeting on preparations for New Year events, according to the Chechen head's Telegram channel.
The reason for the statement was a Ukrainian drone attack on one of the buildings of the Grozny-City high-rise complex. Kadyrov called it "an indicator of powerlessness" and promised that the response "will not be long in coming."
"If you really want to fight, identify a place where you can meet us face to face. Do it if you consider yourselves warriors or men," Kadyrov said.
An AFU drone struck the Grozny City skyscraper in the early morning. As a result of the explosion, the facade of the building was significantly damaged.
