US President Donald Trump believes the war in Ukraine with Russian Federation will eventually be resolved. According to him, the states are working hard on this.

He said this at a festive ceremony of turning on the lights on the Christmas tree in Washington, the White House reported.

The American leader once again emphasized that the United States has already settled world conflicts and wars many times. In this regard, he believes it will succeed this time too, in the case of Ukraine.

"And we are making peace around the world, regulating wars at levels that no one has ever seen before - there may be as many as eight such levels. We're looking for another settlement between Russia and Ukraine, if that's possible. And I believe we will eventually reach that," Trump said.

He also emphasized that thousands and tens of thousands of soldiers are dying in the war in Ukraine, which needs to be stopped urgently. The states, as the US president says, are working hard on the issue.

"Last week, 8,000 soldiers died in a month. They have lost 27,000 military personnel in vain. That has to be stopped. We are working very hard on this," the US president concluded.

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance earlier expressed hope that there would be "good news" in the next few weeks.
