The GUR revealed their characteristics.

GSD pilots demonstrated long-range attack drones "Bober" and "Obriy", which are systematically used to hit Russian military facilities deep inside the Russian territory. The drones are used to strike oil refineries, airfields, air defense facilities, ammunition depots and enemy command posts.

In a video released on the official channel of the Ukrainian editorial Deutsche Welle, the military GSD for the first time detailed the characteristics and capabilities of the Ukrainian "Bober" and "Obriy" drones.

What are the characteristics of the Beaver and Obrii drones

According to one of the pilots, the Beaver is capable of hitting targets at a range of 800 to 1,000 kilometers. It is equipped with a warhead weighing 30 kilograms and is used for strikes on strategically important objects deep behind the Russian rear.

The drone "Obrii" has a range of 300 kilometers, can reach speeds of up to 420 km/h and also carries a warhead weighing 30 kilograms. Both systems are actively used to defeat Russian ammunition depots, air defense positions, radar stations of various types, military airfields, aircraft and enemy command posts.

According to the military officer, during each operation, the GUR drone units face a developed system of Russian countermeasures: Pantsir, Tor, Buk air defense systems, electronic warfare equipment and special intercepting drones. Despite this, operators are finding ways to bypass the defenses and effectively hit certain targets.

The cost of one such drone is about 100,000 dollars, but the damage they cause to the enemy is measured in millions.

"We really influence the course of the war. When you destroy an ammunition depot and realize that these shells will not fly at our people again, that's the best result," the GSD pilot emphasized.
