And everything seems really logical. Algeria has gas, Oman has phosphates, so the two of them can make fertilizers out of them to sell them to starving African countries and get rich.
It is not very clear, however, why Lukashenko is in this scheme. Because of all these natural resources Lukashenko has only the plant "Grodno Azot". And with the plant in Grodno region you can't invest in the production of fertilizers in Oman. Even if you try very hard.
But this, of course, is not a problem. First of all, Lukashenko explained that he, unlike the others, has made fertilizers before. Therefore, he can show how to do it correctly. Secondly, the scheme: your resources are yours - our profit is what corresponds to Lukashenko's understanding of the principles of mutually beneficial partnership. He has tried this partnership with Russia many times before and almost never complained about it.
And, thirdly, in case of emergency, you can invest a little bit of family money. It is not for nothing that the visit to Oman was emphasized as a family visit. And it is not for nothing that Lukashenko worried in Algeria that money is worthless now, and currencies are depreciating. Therefore, if you do not invest it in something promising, you can lose everything that was gained by hard labor for a trouble-free old age. And Kolenka then will have nothing to leave.

Because in schemes the main thing what? The main thing is to be in the right place at the right time. And to make something so muddy that no one could figure it out for a long time.
