Air Force: UAE Set To Buy A Stake In Ukrainian Missile Manufacturer Flamingo

The United Arab Emirates may acquire a stake in the Ukrainian defense company Fire Point. Its total value is 2.5 billion dollars.

This is reported by BBC News Ukraine.

According to BBC sources, the EDGE defense group, which belongs to the UAE sovereign fund, wants to buy a minority stake in the Ukrainian company. The publication's interlocutors claim that they are talking about Fire Point's 30% stake.

They specified that the amount of the deal is about 760 million dollars. Fire Point has already "submitted the necessary documents" to the antimonopoly committee.
