Ukrainian military clears the city of Russian infantry.

Assault units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have blocked the ways through which the Russian military infiltrated in Gulyaypol, Zaporizhzhya region. This was told to "Suspilny" by the commander of the 1st separate assault regiment Dmitri Filatov with the call sign "Perun".

"At the moment, all the logistical routes that the enemy had, that he used for infiltration, they are blocked. In the urbanized zone, of course, there are enough places to hide, but in those areas where the enemy is detected, definitely no one relaxes vigilance and attention anymore, and the enemy is destroyed 100%," he stressed.

He said the Ukrainian military is mopping up the city from Russian infantry that infiltrated there earlier.

Filatov noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces now have enough personnel to contain the Russians, however, the question of motivation of individual units remains.

"This is all taken into account by the senior command, and they are taking certain measures to regroup, including in the control links, reassigning areas of responsibility. That is, they try to carry out not only stabilization measures, but also administrative measures that will improve stability in the management of certain units," Filatov said.
