Moscow can't be trusted.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not want peace. In his opinion, the Kremlin master wants to go further.

So in an interview with Fox News, Zelensky responded to a question about whether there are signs that Putin wants peace if Russia stepped up attacks on Kiev at the end of the year.

"No, to be honest. I don't hear that publicly. He's not talking about peace. On the contrary - he's saying he can go further. These are not signals of peace," the Ukrainian president said.

He is convinced that both dialog and pressure from Trump are needed.

"He has tools, and I believe that he is trying to achieve peace," Zelensky said.

He also added that Putin cannot be trusted.

"He does not want to strengthen sanctions. He may talk about 'cheap electricity,' but we don't need that. We have paid too high a price - with our lives. We don't need anything from them. This is just a message for Trump, a way of communication," Zelensky said.
